New Initiative for Young Researchers at the Erwin L. Hahn Institute for MRI
08/29/2025 New
A breath of fresh air at the Erwin L. Hahn Institute for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ELH): With Jana Theisejans from Prof. Matthias Brand's PI group and Aditya Umarjikar from Prof. Dagmar Timmann's PI group as Early Career Researcher Representatives the ELH is launching an exciting initiative to support young researchers at the institute. Since 2025, the two dedicated scientists have been there to represent the interests of young talents, make their perspectives more visible and actively shape the exchange within the community.
From now on, there will be regular workshops and open discussion rounds where participants can ask questions, network and brainstorm ideas together. The first get-together on 23 July was a complete success and showed that the initiative is well received by young researchers. All PhD students and young postdocs at the ELH were invited to the meeting.
A workshop on data processing is planned for December. Further meetings are already in the pipeline and promise interesting opportunities for exchange and learning. We are excited to see how the initiative develops and would like to express our sincere thanks to Jana and Aditya for their commitment as Early Career Representatives.
